Learning to choose….
At this level, we will turn the focus on to composition and scale. Our aim is to teach you how to select what you want to paint or draw and how to plan where it will go on your paper or canvas. We will show you how composition and scale have been used by artists in history and the effect this has on the viewer. We 
will teach you perspective and how to decipher colour and tone. We will work on mixing colours and the effects and uses of complimentary colours. You will have the opportunity to experiment with oil paint, water colour, and mixing different media.
Very soon you will have the skills to choose what you want to depict on your canvas, how you want to do that and what media and technique you will need to get your desired effect.
