Term Course Details
As classes are limited to 15, students will recieve a high level of individual attention. Enrolled students may choose to come every weekend or from time to time depending on what suits them best.
In each session, students will be exposed to relevant historical works of art. Students will learn different drawing and painting techniques using pencil, charcoal, conti, pastel, acrylic, watercolour and oil. The emphasis will be on learning to draw by focusing on observation. Students will gain a better understanding of what they see and improve their skills so that they can translate perception into their own creations. Students will learn about composition, perspective, light and shadow, tone and texture, and will draw from a variety of still life subjects, outdoor landscapes and make studies of the human form.
